NEWS from Airdrie Minor Hockey

NEWS from Airdrie Minor Hockey:

Airdrie Minor Hockey has recently announced that our Bantam and Midget City League (house league) will be non-contact for the 2015-2016 season.  Based on their projected numbers, they are looking at good player numbers in the Bantam Division.  We are projecting a need for players in the Midget Division.  They are inquiring about players in or around your association that have had to quit due to concussion or injury or because they don’t want to play contact hockey, that we will spread the word that Airdrie will accept players in our Midget City League.  This season past they only had 2 Midget City League teams, and they are projecting 3 for next season, but hoping for enough players for 4 teams.  Airdrie Minor Hockey is also planning to host a tournament for our Bantam and Midget Divisions for the upcoming season, and this will include the city league as well with non-contact games.

Beiseker Minor Hockey will okay Bantam and Midget age players for the 2015-16 season if they would like to play this stream of Airdrie City Hockey, because we only offer Travel hockey to our members (BMH will review Airdrie City league at the end of 2015-16 season as to effects on our program). All other release requests will follow the BMH Regulations process currently in place. If interested contact Airdrie Minor Hockey for more details on the league. Release inquires contact Rob Adams BMH.
